Overusing AI in these spots means extra cost, unnecessary complexity, and unpredictable results. Worse, it invites hallucinations where what you need is reliability.
Practical AI isn't about deploying the shiniest tool everywhere. It's about putting AI where teams need insight and flexibility, translating data into answers, adapting workflows, or summarizing free-text notes in real time. But don't ask a large language model to total your hours or flag empty required fields. That's a job for logic, not language.
